Riverside Education Support Centre is a centre of excellence for the education and advancement of children with special learning difficulties. Riverside ESC’s emphasis throughout the educational journey is on shared learning: the children, the family and education staff learn from each other and together we make progress that benefits each and every child.

Riverside ESC offers classes ranging from Kindergarten through Year 6, Classes are typically composite, made up of children at different year levels.

Enrolments at Riverside ESC are not restricted by the enrolment boundaries that apply to mainstream public schools. Students travel to us from all parts of Mandurah and beyond.

Our classes take into consideration varying learning abilities, behavioural challenges and requirements, enabling the best possible distribution of teacher and staff resources.

Our skilled teachers and educational staff have massive cumulative experience that is focused to bring about positive learning experiences for our students.

What a beautiful start Cooper has had to his school journey. He has had two incredible teachers and a team of amazing education assistants from Kinder to Prep who all have wholeheartedly supported and nurtured him, not only teaching him the curriculum and valuable life skills but have encouraged and celebrated Cooper to continue being his unique self.

What’s Happening at School and in Our Community

Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser

There will be a Riverside Schools Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser on Monday 29th June at lunchtime – order forms have been sent home.

Cup Cake Sale

The Year 6s will be hosting a Cup Cake Sale on Friday 12 June to raise funds for the Year 6 Camp. Cupcakes will be on sale for $3 a cup cake at recess outside the staff room!

Free Dress Day – Soup Can Drive

The Riverside Schools’ Student Council will be holding a Free Dress and Soup Can Drive on Tuesday 16th June. Students can attend school in free dress and bring a can of soup to donate to the Mandurah Soup Kitchen.
